How to Cook Easy Hāngī

EASY TO PREPARE AND COOK

1. Tahi

  • Remove 2 capsules from silver packaging
  • Put capsules in middle of the pot

2. Rua

  • Put meat basket on top of the capsules
  • Now add vege basket
  • (Optional) place stuffing wrapped in tin foil above the veges
  • Place lid on pot
  • Turn stove element to HIGH
  • Leave for 10 minutes

3. Toru

  • Now add 1.5 litres of hot water (5 cups)
  • Replace lid and cook for 30 minutes more on FULL
  • Use the handles to remove baskets
  • Serve
